Quality Is Our Priority
Dentures are removable prostheses that are fabricated to replace missing teeth. A removable prostheses means that they are taken out every night to be cleaned and do not remain in your mouth all the time. A denture can be made to replace missing upper teeth (the maxilla) and/or your lower teeth (the mandible). In the event that you are missing all of your teeth on the upper or lower arch, a complete denture can be made. If you are only missing some teeth on an arch, a removable partial denture can be fabricated for you. While a complete denture utilizes suction and denture adhesive in order to stay in place, a removable partial denture utilizes clasps that hook on to your adjustment teeth in order to provide extra stability. We utilize state of the art dental laboratories and supplies in order to provide you with a beautiful, secure fitting denture that will improve your oral health.

After being seen for a comprehensive exam, your dentist will let you know if a denture will be a good fit for you. If you are a good candidate for a denture, the dentist will take impressions, or “molds”, of your mouth. These impressions will be used by the dental laboratory in order to fabricate the base of your denture that is contoured to the exact shape of your mouth. You will be seen at a later appointment where the base of the denture will be tried in and you will choose the color and shade of your denture teeth. As long as you and the dentist are happy with the fit of the base of your denture, it will be sent to the lab where teeth will be added to it and the denture will be finalized and polished. You will return for another appointment to receive your denture. If there are any adjustments that need to be made at this appointment they will also be made at this time. Your dentist will then recommend that you wear your dentures for a few days in order to get used to it, and if there are any areas that are causing any sore spots or need further adjustments you can call the office in order to have them adjusted.
